Senior Football

The reason the pathway exists.

Two to three sessions per week · 90 minutes · Main Pitch11-a-side open-age league competition

Overview

What this stage is for

Senior football is where the club's development work is settled. It is also the club's shop window: the side that former Foundation players return to, that younger age groups watch on a Saturday, and that gives the pathway a visible destination. The senior environment is competitive and adult, and it is deliberately connected to the youth side of the club rather than fenced off from it.

Receives from Youth Development and the GDL / Elite pathway; supplies the alumni network and, over time, the club's coaching staff.
